You would think they would had improved by then. OneDrive is the slowest and worst online cloud service I have ever had the nightmare of using. To compare, even Amazon S3 is 1000 times faster while processing files and that is saying a lot as S3 is already known to be very slow. If Microsoft can't get even their own cloud services right only an idiot would trust them with critical data. Even a $10 shared hosting account is faster processing files than the multi billion dollar Azure data centers from Microsoft. Its like a big endless queue that never finishes and completely freezes you from using OneDrive. You just have to sit like a complete moron waiting and waiting without being able to use the garbage, since it will refuse to process anything new until it has finished the previous tasks. I concluded that OneDrive is just a piece of garbage that fails horrible at managing a large number of files or folders.Īnything over 50,000 K files will take hours and hours and the only thing the sync client tells you is that OneDrive is processing files with a blank window.

If you delete for example a folder with 3 GB of files, beside the web interface giving errors that it can't delete the folder, after multiple attempts it will start to sync your PC app client for 2 days or more. It took me 4 days once to upload 50 GB of files.
