The problem with the game is that you can't test-drive any of the characters until you buy them, so some may not really match your playstyle. But how much I use each character after buying them depends on how fun they are to use. Before I first locked in my account I tried both Sakura and Yukikaze and gave them up because of how cringeworthy and annoying their voice lines are.
